In Barbara Paparazzo's poem Saturday Afternoon Nap, she warns, "The demons are feeding elsewhere— / they will be back." Today, there are so many lurking demons, it is hard to name them all. The economy continues to bleed us dry, more of us are without employment, we are in debt, some of us are living with our parents, many are too fat, many are too thin, parents continue to see their children die in war, those who we are to trust lie to us out of self-interest. But for now, with this new issue, it is the "safe harbor of an idle hour," when we come to you once again with our offering of necessary words. This morning, I opened the door at 5:30
