Hello again—

This issue marks a number of things for the Dirty Napkin. First, it marks the end of another full year of issues. Thank you so much from the entire staff to you—our readers—and to our authors. I would personally like to thank the editorial staff, who have consistently chosen content that I am very proud to publish. Second, this issue marks the beginning of our new site! This revised layout brings with it many new features, including the ability for anyone to browse the archives (albeit in a limited fashion) and a smoother and easier submission system. Third, it marks the introduction of a new staff member: Abigail Mallin. Starting with the upcoming winter issue, Ms. Mallin will be helping our fearless fiction wrangler, Katie Liesener, rustle up the best prose we can lasso. Lastly, it marks the return of the Dirty Napkin in print! Starting 1 October, you'll be able to get all the issues in paperback. We'll also be offering yearly hardbound anthologies of all four issues. With all the changes we hope you continue to enjoy—and support—the Dirty Napkin. Tell your friends!
